How to Make  the Best Chocolate Drizzled Caramel Apple Fluff

  • Ingredients you’ll need to make homemade Caramel Apple Fluff: Two packages caramel instant pudding mix (or butterscotch) half and half, plain cream cheese, Granny Smith apples, whipped cream i.e. Cool Whip or fresh whipped cream, cubed Snickers bars or Milky Way Simply Caramel, chopped peanuts, caramel ice cream topping, semi sweet chocolate chips and heavy cream.
  • Kitchen gadgets you’ll need: A hand mixer or a stand mixer, mixing bowls, measuring cups and spoons, an apple corer and peeler, a sharp knife and chopping board, large rubber spatula or spoon.
  • While this version begins with fresh apples, it’s perfectly fine to prepare and assemble this caramel apple fluff the night before you’d like to serve it.
  • I chose Granny Smith apples as this dessert isn’t short on sweetness and a tart apple is needed to balance the flavors.
  • If preferred, you can wait and drizzle the caramel and warm chocolate ganache on top just before serving for added drama.
  • The topping is also delicious chilled so, either way you’re bound to be the talk of the town.
  • Store Chocolate Drizzled Caramel Apple Fluff in an airtight container chilled in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
