How to Make the BEST Turkey Club Sub
Being die hard fans of all things spicy we decided to take a classic turkey club and kick it up a bit by changing-up the toppings. To start, an artisan bread round is dressed with an insanely delicious dressing. Layered with pepper jack cheese, creamy avocado slices, spicy peppered turkey, red pepper strips, a layer of smoky bacon takes this sub over-the-top. It’s a crowd pleasing masterpiece.
- Ingredients you’ll need to make a Fiesta Turkey Club Sub: One 9 inch round loaf sourdough bread, real mayonnaise, jalapeno chive and onion cream cheese, green leaf lettuce, thick cut slices pepper-jack cheese, Roma tomatoes, salt and black pepper, red onion, roasted red pepper strips, bacon, Haas avocado, lime juice, spicy or peppered deli turkey (or leftover turkey) thinly sliced.
- Kitchen tools you’ll need: Sharp knife and cutting board, Small bowl, measuring cups, offset spatula.
- This sub can be prepared in one day in advance, wrapped tightly with plastic wrap, and chilled until serving.
- Due to the oxidation of the avocado, I recommend that you do this in the morning on the day you’d like to serve it, not overnight.
- While I make this sub using deli turkey for year-round enjoyment, I’ve also made it using leftover holiday turkey. Either way it’s a winner. You could also use deli chicken or ham.
- Store this Fiesta Turkey Club Sub stored in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.

Hi Melissa! I never leave reviews, in fact I found this recipe some time ago and have been making it ever since. I just wanted to let you know how much we’re loving it. We make it the night before a camping trip, then pack it up so we have food ready as soon as we get set up. It keeps surprisingly well and I think it’s even better that way. Thank you!
It is a beast Carol, but oh so good!
This is a Manwich! But unisex is in, so since I want to bite into it—it’s a (Wo)Manwich. Lots of good stuff in one place.
