2lbbeef tenderloin, new york strip steak or ribeyecut into bite size cubes
1Tbspolive oil
7Tbspunsalted butterdivided
1tspsea saltadjust amount to your taste
1tsp freshly cracked black pepper
fewdashesteriyaki or Worcestershire sauceoptional
4largecloves garlicminced
1/4cupchopped fresh Italian parsley
Instructions
In a large heavy bottomed skillet heat olive oil and 1 Tbsp butter over medium-high heat.
Add steak cubes to the hot skillet in a single layer. Season with salt, pepper and a few dashes of teriyaki or Worcestershire. Cook until the steak forms a crust about 2 minutes.
While steak cooks, melt remaining 6 Tbsp butter in a microwave safe dish. Set aside.
Turn the steak pieces then drizzle with the melted butter. Add garlic. Cook an additional 2 minutes. (Or for 4-6 minutes total) Adjust according to your desired level of doneness and the size of the pieces. Mix well to evenly coat steak with butter and garlic. Remove from heat.
Garnish with chopped parsley and serve immediately as an entree or as an appetizer with food picks.
