Ingredients

  • 2/3 cup real mayonnaise
  • 3 Tbsp hickory brown sugar barbecue sauce
  • 3 Tbsp honey
  • 2 Tbsp yellow mustard
  • 4 tsp Dijon mustard
  • 2 tsp fresh lemon juice
  • 2 tsp apple cider vinegar
  • 1/2 tsp onion powder
  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/8 tsp salt
  • 1-2 drops liquid smoke [optional]

Instructions

  • Place real mayonnaise, hickory flavored barbecue sauce, honey, yellow mustard, Dijon mustard, fresh lemon juice, apple cider vinegar, onion powder, garlic powder or granulated garlic, plain table salt and liquid smoke into a medium bowl. Whisk until fully combined.
  • Chill for 8 hours or overnight in an airtight container.
  • Can be stored tightly sealed in a mason jar in the refrigerator for up to 1 week.

Notes

This recipe was developed using full fat mayonnaise which tends to be lower in sugar. If you choose to use a light mayonnaise the sweetness may need to be adjusted.
