Ingredients

  • 2/3 cup Miracle Whip salad dressing
  • 1/4 cup whole buttermilk
  • 1/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 2 Tbsp apple cider vinegar
  • 1/2 tsp onion powder
  • 1/2 tsp granulated garlic or garlic powder
  • 1/2 tsp celery salt
  • 1/4 tsp dry tarragon
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper
  • 1/4 tsp celery seed
  • 1 1lb packaged cole slaw mix OR equivalent of chopped green and purple cabbage and shredded carrots combined

Instructions

  • In a medium bowl whisk together Miracle Whip salad dressing, whole buttermilk, granulated sugar, apple cider vinegar, onion powder, granulated garlic or garlic powder, celery salt, dry tarragon, black pepper and celery seed until fully combined.
  • Refrigerate in an airtight container or toss immediately with cole slaw mix. Stir well and taste to adjust the salt just before serving.

Notes

Miracle whip has a sweet flavor that combines with the seasonings to beautifully dress this slaw. You may substitute real mayonnaise, if you prefer then adjust the sweetness to your taste.
