Notes
Miracle Whip - You can use mayonnaise in place of Miracle Whip. When doing so, add 1/2-1 teaspoon granulated sugar. A small amount of white sugar will balance the flavor without making the dip sweet. Adjust the amount according to your family's tastes.
Milk - You can use whole milk or buttermilk to thin the sauce.
Spice - You can add cayenne pepper in place of red pepper flakes, if desired.
Hot Sauce - You could add a few dashes of Valentina, Cholula or your favorite hot sauce for more heat.
Lime White Sauce - Add fresh lime juice and a little lime zest for a bright, tangy twist.
Cilantro Lime - Fold in finely chopped fresh cilantro along with lime juice.
Chipotle - Add a spoonful of minced chipotle peppers in adobo for smoky heat.
Taco-Seasoned - Stir in a little taco seasoning for extra Tex-Mex flavor.
Extra Creamy - Add a little more mayonnaise or sour cream for a thicker dip.
Pourable Mexican White Sauce - Thin with a splash of milk or buttermilk for a thinner consistency, if you want to drizzle it over tacos, burritos or enchiladas.
