Oven Fried Bacon (How to Cook Bacon in the Oven)

Ingredients

  • 1 lb thick cut bacon OR
  • 1 lb classic cut bacon (any amount will work)

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 400°F.
  • Line a large baking sheet with heavy duty foil and fit with an oven safe rack. (You can also bake the bacon directly on the foil.)
  • Arrange bacon slices on rack leaving around 1/2 inch between for air to circulate.
  • Cook for 20-25 minutes (thick cut) Classic cut cook for 20 minutes or until desired crispness is reached. (Cook to your preferredĀ level of crispiness.)
  • Remove from rack using tongs to a paper towel-lined plate to drain and enjoy. Freeze bacon grease for future use.
