3/4cupItalian seasoned panko bread crumbs OR plain panko breadcrumbs
2/3cupfinely grated Parmesan cheese
2largeeggslightly beaten
1/3cup whole milk
Instructions
Preheat the oven to 400°F. Line a sheet pan with parchment and fit with an oven safe rack sprayed with cooking spray Set aside.
To a large bowl add the ground beef and Italian sausage, onion, minced garlic, Italian seasoning salt and black pepper. With clean hands or a wooden spoon, mix everything together.
To the bowl add the Panko breadcrumbs, Parmesan cheese, eggs, and milk, mixing to fully combine.
Use a 1 1/2 Tbsp cookie scoop or meatball scoop to divide the meatball mixture. Roll them into tight balls. Arrange on the rack without touching.
Bake the meatballs for 20-25 minutes just until the exterior is browned, and a meat thermometer inserted into the center reads 165°F.
Serve immediately over cooked pasta drizzled with alfredo sauce, marinara sauce or with picks as an appetizer.
