Ingredients
2lbsground chicken
1cupItalian seasoned dry breadcrumbs or panko breadcrumbs
2/3cupfinely crumbled feta cheese
2largeeggslightly beaten
4mediumgarlic clovesfinely minced
1/2cupfinely diced red onion
1/3cupchopped fresh parsley
3Tbspchopped fresh dill
2tspgarlic salt
2tspdried oregano
1/2tspblack pepper
1/2tsplemon pepper

Homemade Tzatziki Sauce:
2cupsplain Greek yogurt
1cupgrated cucumbersqueezed dry
2Tbspchopped fresh dill
2Tbsplemon juice
1Tbspolive oil
1 1/2tspgarlic salt
1tsponion powder
1/4-1/2tspblack pepper
Instructions
In a mixing bowl, combine ground chicken, breadcrumbs, feta, beaten eggs, red onion, parsley, dill, oregano, garlic salt, black pepper and lemon pepper. Mix until just combined.
Use a meatball scoop to form ground chicken mixture into 1-inch balls.
Heat 2 Tbsp olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add meatballs, cooking in batches turning occasionally, for 10 to 12 minutes until golden brown and cooked through. (Alternatively, bake meatballs in preheated oven at 400°F for 18 to 20 minutes on a parchment paper lined sheet pan. Broil to brown further at the end of baking, if desired)
Tzatziki Sauce: In a small bowl, combine Greek yogurt, grated cucumber, dill, lemon juice, olive oil, garlic salt, onion powder and black pepper. Taste tzatziki and adjust lemon or salt as needed. Stir until smooth and refrigerate until ready to use.
Garnish with fresh dill and serve meatballs with picks and tzatziki sauce for dipping.
Notes
Chicken - You could make these meatballs with ground turkey, ground lamb, ground pork or ground beef.
Red Onion - You can use shallots or sweet onion.
Lemon Pepper - You can use black pepper or crushed red pepper flakes and lemon zest instead.
Don't Overmix - Do not overmix the meatball mixture to keep them tender.
Cucumber - Squeeze excess moisture from cucumber for a thick tzatziki. You can use an English cucumber or classic cucumber with the peel intact.
Fresh Herbs - You can use fresh mint, fresh chives, fresh basil, or fresh thyme to change the flavor profile. Fresh herbs have the best flavor.
Greek Yogurt - You could use sour cream in place of Greek yogurt in a pinch.

Use an Instant Read Thermometer - To prevent overcooking you can test the centers with an instant read thermometer looking for 165°F internal temperature.
