Ranch Dip: (optional)
1/2cupsour cream
1/2cupmayonnaise
2-3Tbspdry Ranch salad dressing mix
Instructions
Preheat the oven to 425°F. Spray a large sheet pan with cooking spray.
Spread french fries on the pan in a single layer. Toss with seasoned salt. (Adjust the amount to your taste.)
Bake for 25-30 minutes or according to the package directions until crisp and golden brown.
Meanwhile, in a large skillet cook bacon over medium-high heat until crisp. Remove to a paper towel lined platter.
Assemble: Increase the oven temperature to broil. Remove french fries from the oven and sprinkle with shredded cheese and bacon. Return to the oven and broil until the cheese has melted.
Transfer to a platter and drizzle with 1/2 cup warm cheese sauce.
Ranch Dip: In a small bowl, whisk together sour cream, mayonnaise and ranch dressing mix. Chill until serving. (This can be done one day in advance to save time and allow the flavors to fully combine.)
Serve immediately drizzled lightly with Ranch dressing garnished with jalapeno slices and green onions and with ranch dip and remaining cheese sauce on the side.
