Instructions
Make the Crust: Crush Golden Oreos in a food processor until fine crumbs form. Mix with melted butter until evenly combined.
Press mixture onto the bottom of a 13x9-inch dish in an even layer. Pop into the freezer to chill and set for 5-10 minutes, while preparing the cheesecake layer.
Cream Cheese Layer: In a large bowl, use an electric mixer to beat the softened cream cheese, 1 cup heavy cream, powdered sugar, and vanilla extract until smooth. Spread evenly over the chilled crust.
Strawberry Layer: Clean, trim and dice strawberries.
In a medium bowl, dissolve strawberry Jell-O in boiling water to dissolve. Place bowl in freezer just until chilled, but not set. Into the Jell-O stir in the diced strawberries and fold in the whipped topping until evenly distributed and combined. Pour strawberry mixture over cream cheese layer.
Frost the top of the dessert with the remaining 8 oz whipped topping. Chill in the refrigerator for at least 4 hours to set.
Slice and serve garnished with fresh strawberry slices.
