How to Make the BEST S’mores Bars Recipe

  • Ingredients you’ll need to make homemade S’mores Bars: Graham cracker crumbs, salted butter, sweetened condensed milk, mini marshmallows, semi sweet chocolate chips, broken graham cracker pieces and Hershey’s milk chocolate bars broken or chopped into small pieces.
  • Kitchen tools you’ll need: 13×9 inch baking pan, parchment paper, measuring cups and spoon, medium bowl, sharp knife and chopping board.
  • You can skip chopping the chocolate using mini chocolate candy bars instead. Just eyeball the amount and quickly arrange them on top to melt while the bars are still warm.
  • Slicing baked marshmallows can be a bit of a gooey sticky task. Firstly, make sure you’re using a very sharp knife. In addition there are a couple of thing you can do to make the process easier. You can grease the knife with butter or cooking spray between each slice or you can warm the knife under hot water then dry and slice with the warm knife.
  • Store leftovers, covered, at room temperature for up to 3 days. The marshmallows will go stale before the squares go bad.
  • You can freeze these S’mores Bars in an airtight container for up to 2 months.
  • If you are stacking the bars, place a piece of parchment paper or wax paper between the layers to prevent the gooey marshmallow from sticking them together.
