  • Prepare Crockpot – Spray the crock of a 6 quart oval slow cooker with cooking spray.
  • Apples – Spread apple pie filling on bottom.
  • Cake – In a medium bowl, mix toss together cake mix, butter, egg and pecans. Sprinkle over apple pie filling.
  • Cover – Cover opening with doubled paper towels, place lid firmly on top.

  1. Do you possibly have a recipe similar to this except using fresh apples? I have lots of mixed apples that need to be used before they go bad and I am tired of applesauce. lol Plus I love cake and other baked goods.
