Strawberry Pretzel Salad is a sweet layered dessert with a pretzel crust, cream cheese, and strawberry jello.

Finely crushed pretzels Chopped pecans Granulated sugar Unsalted butter Plain cream cheese Powdered sugar Half and half or heavy cream Vanilla Strawberry Jell-O mix Frozen strawberries

Choose firm red strawberries with bright green stems for best shelf life.

Pretzel pecan crust may break apart when cut into squares, and whipped topping is optional.

When pouring the jello layer over the cream cheese layer, do so gently to avoid disturbing it. Using the tip of a knife, gently move the strawberry slices in the jello so they're evenly distributed throughout.
