Creole Seasoned Air Fryer Salmon Recipe

Salmon is a spectacular choice year-round. It’s packed with nutrients and can be transformed with simple seasonings into a feast. It’s not inexpensive but, far more cost effective to make at home. How to make Creole seasoned Air Fryer Salmon: (Scroll down for full printable recipe.)

  • Prepare Air Fryer – Preheat air fryer to 400°F. Spray basket with cooking spray.
  • Salmon – Brush salmon fillets with olive oil.
  • Make Seasoned Coating – Mix any remaining oil with brown sugar, creole seasoning, garlic, paprika, lemon pepper and salt. Rub on all sides of salmon.
  • Lemon – Arrange lemon slices in air fryer, then place salmon fillets on top.
  • Cook – Cook skin side down for 7-9 minutes or just until cooked through and a thermometer registers 145°F when inserted into the side of the fillet. It should easily flake with a fork. Cook time may vary depending on thickness of fillets. Keep warm and repeat if frying in batches.
  • Serve immediately garnished with parsley and lemon.

  • Ingredients you’ll need to make Air Fryer Salmon: 6 ounce salmon fillets (around 1 1/2 inch thick), olive oil, brown sugar, Creole or Cajun seasoning, granulated garlic or garlic powder, paprika, lemon pepper, salt, lemons and Italian parsley.

  • Consider the amount of salt in the seasoning used and adjust the amount in the recipe, if needed.
