Easy Chicken Patties Recipe
The first time I tried making Southern-style chicken patties, it was honestly just a random weeknight experiment. I had some ground chicken in the fridge, a craving for something crispy, and zero desire to order takeout, so I figured, why not? I mixed in a little onion, garlic, and a splash of mayo, then shaped the patties and tossed them into a hot skillet.
The sound of that first sizzle was everything. Within minutes, my kitchen smelled like comfort food heaven crispy, golden, and a little spicy. I threw a few on brioche buns with pickles and spicy mayo, and just like that, it became one of our go-to easy dinners. I’ve perfected the flavor now, adding a hint of red bell peppers and green onions, shredded Parmesan cheese and breadcrumbs to expand the flavor profile. There’s something about that mix of Southern flavor and simple ingredients that just works. It’s cozy, quick, and totally crave-worthy.

Very nice recipe chef 👍👌👏. Thank you for your effort and A HAPPY NEW YEAR 2026 🎁🌞😎.
Thank you, same to you!
These look really good but can they be done in the oven instead and at what temperature and for how long? Thanks for the recipe…
They can be done in an air fryer so they likely would work in the oven. If you try it let us know how it goes!
Could you make a double batch and freeze them? What would be the best way to reheat?
You can make a double batch sure. From the narrative: Storage – Store leftover Chicken Patties in an airtight container chilled in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
Reheating – Reheat in a nonstick skillet over medium heat, in an air fryer or on a sheet pan in a preheated 375°F oven for a few minutes just to crisp the breadcrumb coating.
Freezer – You can freeze chicken patties for up to 1 month. Thaw in the fridge and reheat just before serving.
