Easy Crockpot Apple Dump Cake Recipe
Dump cakes have been around for eons and are the very definition of an easy dessert. They’re best known for their endless flavor combinations and just how effortless they are to make. The name comes from the simple process, Essentially, everything gets “dumped” into a pan and baked. In this case, the crockpot or slow cooker does all the heavy lifting. One of the biggest advantages of making a dump cake this way is convenience. You can assemble the ingredients, set it to cook, and let it bake while you’re eating dinner. By the time you’re finished, dessert is ready and waiting.
Many apple dump cake recipes start with a dry yellow cake mix or white cake mix, and both are delicious options. But when it comes to apples, I can’t imagine anything better than warm spices like cinnamon and nutmeg. That’s why I always reach for a spice cake mix for this version. It wraps those classic fall flavors into every bite and delivers a warm, cozy slow-cooker dessert with absolutely no-fuss assembly.

Do you possibly have a recipe similar to this except using fresh apples? I have lots of mixed apples that need to be used before they go bad and I am tired of applesauce. lol Plus I love cake and other baked goods.
